Holly Tree Chapel is an independent fellowship of Christians that welcomes all denominations and is congregationally governed. It is dedicated to promoting the love of God in our community by proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We invite you to worship with us and discover how meaningful your relationship with God can be. It is our prayer that God will richly bless you through worship at Holly Tree Chapel.

Our new Adult Sunday School Class will begin Sunday, April 27 at 8:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Ken Toby will facilitate a study from an updated version of "Pilgrim's Progress." This will be an enlightening and realistic study of what the Christian life is like. Please call the church office (903) 769-3501 to let Donna Parker know if you will be attending the class so we can be sure we have enough copies of the books.
Women's Bible Study / Fellowship meets at 10:00 a.m. on
Tuesdays in Fellowship Hall. The group is continuing an 8-week study of Liz Curtis Higgs' "Slightly Bad Girls of the Bible." Plus, on April 22, Amy Martindale, one of the missionaries the Chapel supports, will speak to the group about her work in northern Africa.
Wednesday Night Bible Study meets at 7:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Pastor Mink is leading a study of Genesis.
Men's Bible Study begins each Friday at 7:50 a.m. Breakfast is served following Bible Study on the first Friday of every month and all first-time visitors eat free, along with the person who brings them.
The April Fellowship Dinner will be held Sunday, April 27, at 5:30 p.m. Please bring your favorite entrée, veggie, salad or dessert. The program for the evening will be presented by New Day. Kelley Matthews, one of the vocalists, is Hank and Beth Matthews' daughter-in-law. Join us for an evening of good food, entertainment and fellowship. Sign up sheets are in the Nathex.
Easter Lilies for the Sanctuary - $10. Sign up sheet is in the Narthex. The lilies can be picked up following the 10:00 a.m. service on April 20th.
WEB will meet Wednesday, April 23, in the upper parking lot and will leave by 10:00 a.m. for Tyler where they will visit the Brookshires Wildlife Museum and then go for lunch at Mercado's.
Volunteers are needed to be Greeters on Sunday mornings before our worship service starts. It's a fun thing to do and it doesn't take a lot of effort - just a big smile and a welcoming hello to all (see Lillie below). Occasionally, you will even get a big hug! Sign up sheets are on the table in the Narthex. Earlene Martin is your contact for this service and she will be very grateful for your participation!
