Holly Tree Chapel is an independent fellowship of Christians that welcomes all denominations and is congregationally governed. It is dedicated to promoting the love of God in our community by proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ.
We invite you to worship with us and discover how meaningful your relationship with God can be. It is our prayer that God will richly bless you through worship at Holly Tree Chapel.
Dr. Timothy Mink, Pastor
Pastor Mink is currently covering the Seven Kingdom Principles of Church Growth. Following the introduction on September 21, he will spend the following six weeks speaking on the basic functions of the local church:
The church must experience God and seek His kingdom; listening to Him through His Word is vital to making decisions that reflect the relationship we must have with Him. Church growth (personally and numerically) is God's supernatural work in a local church. If we are not growing personally and numerically, we simply are not in touch with Him. Please join us in strengthening our walk with our Lord Jesus and with each other.
Adult Sunday School Class meets at 8:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. This Sunday we will have Fellowship time during the adult Sunday School. Please come join us - pastries will be provided and we're asking everyone to bring their favorite breakfast finger foods. See you Sunday.
Women's Fellowship meets on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. The ladies are studying Priscilla Shirer's Gideon, Your Weakness, God's Strength.
Wednesday Night Bible Study with Pastor Tim Mink meets on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.
Men's Bible Study begins each Friday at 7:50 a.m. Breakfast is served following Bible Study on the first Friday of each month. All first-time visitors eat free, along with the person who brings them.

Women's Fellowship's Annual Retreat will be held on Tuesday, October 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This year's guest speaker is Kali Schnieders, a popular inspirational speaker and author who currently lives in the Dallas area. Kali has authored several books and is best known for helping people cope with the challenges of everyday life and generally leaves her audiences encouraged and uplifted. Tickets are on sale at the Chapel office for $10.00. If purchased at the door, the cost will be $15.00.
Volunteers are needed to be Greeters on Sunday mornings before our worship service starts. It's a fun thing to do and it doesn't take a lot of effort - just a big smile and a welcoming hello to all. Sign up sheets are on the table in the Narthex. Earlene Martin is your contact for this service and she will be very grateful for your participation!
Volunteers are also needed to serve as Ushers on rotating basis. Please contact Pete Porell (903/769-2291) if you are willing to serve in this capacity.
